Where Do You Apply for Permission to Visit?

To visit a foreign national prisoner (convicted or remand prisoner) held at Sincan No. 4 L-Type Closed Penal Institution, a written application for permission must be made to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for ordinary criminal offences, or to the Ministry of Justice for terrorism or organised crime offences.

1. Written request (petition)
2. Document from the consulate of the country of citizenship showing the degree of kinship
3. Three passport-size photographs
4. Photocopy of passport
5. Photocopy of identity card
6. Document showing registration with the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management
7. Receipt showing payment of the identity card fee to the Vakıfbank Courthouse (Adliye Sarayı) Branch

Documents Required for Turkish Citizens Married to a Foreign National Convict/Remand Prisoner

1. Written request (petition)
2. Document from the consulate of the country of citizenship
3. Full civil registry record with life events (vukuatlı nüfus kayıt örneği)
4. Marriage certificate (family booklet)
5. Photocopy of identity card
6. Photocopy of passport
7. Three passport-size photographs
8. Document showing registration with the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management
9. Receipt showing payment of the identity card fee to the Vakıfbank Courthouse (Adliye Sarayı) Branch
